Why are there too many posers?

There are several reasons why people feign their profiles
  1. They feel inferior
    • Because they only see their weaknesses while admiring the strengths of others. They are not photogenic, so they can't publicly post their pics, so they use that of others.
  2. They want to play around
    • Some really enjoy fooling others. They love it when some hot blooded profiles comment on their pics like "add me!" "you're pretty!" "cute!" etc
  3. They seek revenge
    • They pose as their enemies, and make them appear funny, stupid, or promiscous
  4. They want anonimity
    • This is a rare case, but this is possible.

Why friendster?

Why friendster?
Of so many social sites, why?
Simply because I'm from the Philippines and is the best one around here. Myspace is too crowded with spammy profiles, and facebook is not yet booming in the country. Bebo on the other hand is unknown to most Philippine internet users. A friend of mine in New Zealand was even shocked to know I don't know bebo the first time she told me about it.

On good basis, Friendster ranks as 7th largest in the world in terms of membership and top social network in Asia - with more than 70 million profiles to browse through.

So that's explains why friendster.
